How to play

Everything that decides who wins and where the money goes.

Getting started

  1. Sign in with X, Google or a wallet. A Solana wallet is created for you.
  2. Deposit USDC (or SOL, ETH, USDG…) from any supported chain in Wallet. It lands in your personal vault.
  3. Link the wallet you trade with in Connections: one Solana and one Robinhood Chain wallet, proven by a signature.
  4. Join or create a contest in the Arena. Your stake moves into that contest's on-chain escrow.
  5. Trade as usual during the window. When the bell rings, scores are computed and the escrow pays the winner automatically.

Your funds

Balances are never stored in our database. Your money sits in a vault account owned by the open-source wagers program on Solana, and only your wallet can sign withdrawals. The number you see is read straight from the chain.

Every contest and tournament has its own escrow account. Stakes move vault to escrow when you join, and escrow to vaults when it settles or refunds. If a contest is not settled within 7d after the bell, anyone can trigger a full refund on-chain, even if bandforband.fun is offline.

You pay the network fee for deposits from other chains. Everything else (joining, settling, withdrawing) is sponsored by the platform. Minimum deposit and withdrawal are $5.00 and $5.00.

Game modes

PnL Race

Trade from your linked wallet. The best return on the capital you deployed during the window wins. Size does not matter, skill does.

Dollar PnL

Most realized + unrealized dollar profit after fees during the window wins. Consistency beats one lucky shot.

Best Trade

Your best single position multiple wins. $1 turned into $1,000 is x1000.

Draft Basket

Snake-draft tokens from a curated pool before the start. Equal-weight basket, oracle prices. No trading needed.

Closest Call

Everyone predicts the price of a token at the bell. Predictions are sealed (commit-reveal) until the start. Smallest error wins.

Up / Down

Same token, opposite sides. The host picks up or down, the challenger takes the other side. Direction at the bell decides.

Target Race

First trader whose portfolio return reaches the target wins instantly. Nobody reaches it: best return at the bell.

Last Bag Standing

A lobby where the lowest return is eliminated at every interval. The last trader standing takes the pot.

Same Token Showdown

A random eligible token is revealed at the start. Only trades on that token count. Best % return wins.

Stakes range from $2.00 to $100,000.00. Duels are 1v1 (or team vs team); lobbies seat more players and pay the top finishers.

Fair play

  • Only positions opened during the contest window count. Selling tokens you already held does not score.
  • Tokens transferred into your wallet are ignored; tokens transferred out count as sold at zero.
  • Unknown, illiquid, brand-new, thinly held or self-deployed tokens never count.
  • In percentage modes, less than $5 of capital actually deployed scores zero, so a $1 moonshot cannot win a big pot.
  • Any transfer or trade with an opponent's wallets flags the contest for staff review.
  • Your linked wallets are locked while you are in a contest, and changing them has a cooldown.

Results & disputes

Scoring runs about 20 seconds after the bell so indexers can catch up. Clean results settle on-chain automatically.

If automatic scoring of a duel is flagged or unavailable, both players can self-report a win or loss for 30m. Agreeing reports settle; conflicting reports or a dispute go to staff, who review the on-chain evidence and decide. Ties and cancelled contests are refunded in full with no fee.

Both players can vote to cancel a live duel during its first 2m.

Fees

The platform takes a fee from the pot only when someone wins. Bigger stakes pay less:

Stake per playerFee
$0.00 – $10.005%
$10.00 – $50.004%
$50.00 – $100.003%
$100.00 – $500.002%
$500.00+1%

VIP pays 20% less. Referred players get 10% off their first 10 contests. Withdrawals cost $0.50 ($0.25 for VIP) plus the bridge fee when you withdraw to another asset or chain.

Tournaments

Single elimination, double elimination, Swiss and leaderboard formats. Entry fees go into one tournament escrow and are paid out by the prize table shown on the tournament page. When a tournament has a check-in window (shown on its page), checked-in entrants are seeded first. Team entries are paid by the captain for the whole team.
